BY CAR
Leave the M6 at junction 19, then at roundabout take the 3rd
exit onto the A556 (sp
Manchester), At Bowden roundabout take the
2nd exit onto the A56 (sp Altrincham),
At traffic signals continue forward (sp
Manchester, Stretford), At roundabout take
the 2nd exit onto the A56 (sp Manchester, Stretford),
At roundabout take the 4th exit onto the
A56 (so Ring Road, Birmingham),
Continue forward, then join the A57(M) motorway, Bear left onto the
A635, At traffic signals bear left onto the A665, At traffic
signals turn right onto the A662 (sp Droylsden),
Turn left onto Hillkirk Street, Turn right
onto Philips Park Road.
CAR PARKING
Match parking is
available on certain car parks at the ground, for £5.00 per vehicle
which is payable on the day (first come first served).
Please give
yourself plenty of time to park and get to the Stadium.
When arriving look
for the MCFC Accredited Parking signs which will be visible on all
major roads around SportCity.
All car parks open
two hours prior to kick off and will close one hour after the final
whistle. All car parks are supervised by MCFC officials.
A residents parking
scheme is in place, please park safely and do not park on streets
in the area or you will be fined or your car clamped or removed.
The residents parking scheme will be strictly enforced. Please
respect the needs of local people and help City to be a good
neighbour.
The ASDA car park
adjacent to the Stadium is reserved for their customers. ASDA will
manage their car park and may impose penalties on a match day.
BY BUS
There are many and
frequent services to SportCity from all directions. Direct services
to the stadium are: 53, 54, 185, 186, 216, 217, 230, 231, 232, 233,
234, 235, 236, 237, X36 and X37.
BY RAIL
Manchester
Piccadilly is the closest main line station to SportCity and is
approximately a 20 to 30 minute walk from the City of Manchester
Stadium.
Ashburys is a
smaller station situated to the south on Alan Turing Way and is a
15 minute walk to the stadium.
BY FOOT
There is a safe,
sign posted and well lit route from the city centre and Piccadilly
station to SportCity. It takes in Store Street, Pollard Street,
Ashton New Road and Holt Town. Stewards will be on hand along the
route which takes around 30 minutes from Piccadilly Gardens and 20
to 30 from the train station.
