MANAGERS COMMENTS
Tony Mowbray
"I'm a realist, The team played very well in spells.
"We could have and maybe should have finished the game off but didn't and paid a heavy price.
"It ultimately comes down to the quality of footballers.
"I can take my share of the blame and we have to look at how we set-up and how we play.
"But I don't see too much wrong.
"Players have got to do their job in the last five minutes of a football match in marking the guy they're supposed to before he heads it into the top corner.
"Football's all about concentration.
"I would suggest the players who are playing for the top, top teams don't lose concentration in the last five minutes.
"They do their jobs, clear the ball and the game goes on.
"We do have a few flaws in our side.
"I've just said to them in the dressing room that we can be very critical of the guy not marking on the goal that lost us the game.
"But what about the guys who missed three or four opportunities to score, including one-on-ones with the keeper?
"We had enough opportunities to get that second goal and it's a bit frustrating."
Steve Bruce
"It has been a decent week in terms of results and just what we needed really.
"We had a poor October, not the way we played, but we didn't pick up the points and we've done today what Middlesbrough came and did to us three or four weeks ago, you know.
"West Brom can rightly feel as if they've been mugged but some fantastic goalkeeping and we stuck at it and in the end got a break."
